Max Has A New Friend

My parents still have our bird, Spikey, that we grew up with.  Max doesn't know what to think.  The only close interaction Max has had with birds is at PetSmart where he tried to bite at them thru the glass or jump up on the glass.  So I have had to keep a close eye on him to make sure he knows that Spikey is part of the family - not something for him to hunt!

Winter Park

Max and I are in Colorado visiting my parents.  Today we came up to Winter Park and went snow shoeing - Max LOVED it!  He jumps right in the deep snow until his head is covered!  Below is a video of him making his own path.

Let it snow...or ice

As most have probably heard we have been hit by a nice little snow/ice storm and literally freezing temps! High today was 20! This morning they were having rolling power outages to conserve energy.  We took this time to bare the cold weather and have some fun with Max.  Below is a picture and fun video from our walk...

Max just loves to eat the snow, especially when Matt was throwing it at him!  Hope everyone is staying warm!
