Our First Snake!

Last night after I got home from work I decided to put some weed killer out in the yard. While I was working in the yard I found a little creature I am not a fan of.... so I slowly back up before it noticed me and waited until Matt got home.

Once he got home I take him out to see our new pet!

Matt grabs a stick and pulls it out of its hiding place - it is over a foot long...

We weren't sure what kind it was but decided we didn't want it and it didn't need to come back, so Matt borrowed a neighbors shovel and we disposed the body in the woods down the street....

I know this won't be our last - but I hope we won't have another one for awhile!
