Three weeks ago I received a job offer that allowed me to work from home and not travel as much. After returning from my last program of the year I turned in my two weeks. I thought it would be a lot harder than it actually was since I have been with my company for almost 5 years! I will miss seeing the friends I have made there every day, but I know we will keep in touch!
Last Wednesday, December 29th was a big day for Matt and I.... it was my last day at my job and Matt finally got the results to his Professional Engineering exam that he took on October 29th. Not only did Matt pass but he made a 94! I am so proud of him. To celebrate all his hard work and dedication I took him to Bob's Steakhouse. We have been wanting to go there for awhile and we were not disappointed at all!
With the new join I will be working from home, what does this mean....I "real" study as Matt puts it. So Friday morning we begun building us a study. We are turning the front dining/living room into two rooms. Last weekend we got all the framing done and half of the sheetrock. The project should be complete in three weeks. Here are some pictures from the weekend....
Here is the before....

We celebrated the New Year with Maximus' Birthday - he is officially ONE and close to 90lbs!

Congrats to Matt for an awsome score! I think that is really cool your building that office; I can't wait to see the finished project.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! You will love that. Maybe we need a Canton trip and you can get goods for the office. How long have we talked about that?
